James Dempsey Eliminated By Jean Noel Thorel

Jean Noel Thorel raises to 2,100 and Season X Five Diamond World Poker Classic Champ James Dempsey moves all-in for 13,300. Michael Kamran is in the small blind and tries to reraise, but only puts out 20,000. Kamran is forced to make the minimum raise to 24,500.

Thorel wastes little time announcing reraise and making it 52,100 to play.  Kamran thinks for quite a while, then folds.

Dempsey turns over [AhJh] and he is thrilled to see he is racing against Thorel’s [10c10h]. Kamran lets out a frustrated sigh and Dempsey asks, "Did you fold queens?"

Kamran nods, confirming Dempsey’s suspiscions.

As the flop comes [Ks2h2c], Dempsey tells the table, "I feel as though I should get there." He gets no help from the [3c] on the turn though and, with the [Kd] on the river, he is eliminated.

"Nice hand," Kamran tells Thorel. "You earned that."
