James Woods Missed a Great Last-Longer vs. Steve Lipscomb

Sep 16, 2013

394 Steve Lipscomb
Actor James Woods arrived early to the Borgata to play in a couple of preliminary events, and did pretty damn well, finishing second in the final prelim before this WPT main event began on Sunday.

But when Steve Lipscomb (pictured above) offered him a last-longer side bet at the start of the day, Woods turned him down. Lipscomb told us that Woods obviously feared Lipscomb as a player.

Unfortunately, the other players at Lipscomb’s table do not fear him.

Lipscomb has steadily dropped in the chip counts, with about 7,500 in chips. Woods is above average with about 36,000.

James Woods  –  36,000  (240 bb)
Steve Lipscomb  –  7,500  (50 bb)

At this point, it looks like a missed opportunity for James Woods.
