Jeff Williams' Jacks Good Against Lee Childs

Sep 20, 2012

Jeff Williams raises to 65,000 from UTG+1 and action folds back around to Lee Childs UTG. Childs calls and the two see a flop of [9d6h5d]. Childs checks, Williams bets 84,000, Childs calls and the [2h] is opened on the turn. Childs checks again, Williams makes it 178,000 and Childs calls. The river is the [5c], Childs tosses out 250,000 and Williams thinks for a minute before asking for a count. Childs confirms he has a little over 600,000.

Williams thinks a bit more and says "I think I should raise here, but I just call."

Childs shows [Kd10d] and Williams opens [JcJd] to win the pot.

"That is about the one percent of the time you are going to win there," Childs tells Williams.

Jeff Williams – 2,275,000 (75 bb)
Lee Childs – 640,000 (21 bb)
