Jeffrey Chang raises under the gun to 1,200, Jonathan Neale calls from the cutoff, and Andrew Grose thinks for a bit in the big blind. There’s a friendly vibe at the table, and Grose says something to encourage Grose to call to see the flop.

The flop comes Heart 2Diamond 2Club 2, Grose checks, and Chang bets 2,000, saying something about quads. Neale folds, and Grose calls.

The turn card is the Spade 10, and both players check.

The river card is the Club 5, and Grose bets 8,000, with less than 4K left behind. Chang asks, “Do you really have the two?” Grose smiles. Chang thinks for a little longer before he folds.

Grose rechecks his hand and shows one card — the Club 10 for a full house, deuces full of tens. Chang nods as if to signify that it was the best hand.

Then Grose tosses his second card out onto the table — the Spade 2 for quad deuces. There is a lot of laughter, with one player laughing and telling Chang, “You brought him in!”

Chang says, “I jinxed myself!”
