Jeremy Menard Busts David Diaz

Nov 9, 2012

Jeremy Mendard has eliminated David Diaz after a pre-flop raising war. We came to the table after the action started and saw this:

Menard makes it 6,200 from middle position. Diaz makes it 9,200 and Menard tosses out enough chips to make it 16,200. Diaz announces he is all in and Menard calls.

Diaz shows [8c8h] and Menard turns up [AsKd]. Menard catches a king on the flop and Diaz never catches a needed eight as the board runs out.

Menard is up to about 115,000. Diaz, who final tabled the WPT Borgata Poker Open in September, can try again tomorrow if he chooses.

Jeremy Menard – 115,000 (143 bb)
David Diaz – Eliminated
