With the final board showing on the river and a little more than 7K already in the pot, Chris Limo checks the small blind, and Jerry Humphrey (pictured) moves all in for 14,000.
Limo tanks for a long time, asking, “Will you show if I fold?” Humphrey remains stoic, and at one point, Limo unexpectedly slaps the table to make a loud noise, and it causes Humphrey to break into laughter, and he lowers his head in an apparent attempt to conceal his face a bit.
Limo thinks a little longer, and with enough chips to call in his hand, he says, “I know you’ve got the flush,” and he calls.
Humphrey shows for a rivered queen-high straight, and Limo reacts with surprise, “Oh my God!” Limo turns over his for a pair of queens, and Humphrey wins the pot with his straight to double up in chips.
Jerry Humphrey – 36,000 (180 bb)
Chris Limo – 35,000 (175 bb)
