John D'Agostino Takes Out Three Players at Once

Jan 29, 2014

Jeffrey Chang moves all in UTG+1 for about 90,000, and John D’Agostino calls from middle position. WPT Champions Club member Shawn Cunix moves all in over the top from the button for about 300,000. Catherine Dever is in the big blind, and she calls all in for about 60,000.

D’Agostino calls, covering all three players, and they turn over their cards. Here they are, in descending order of chip counts:

John D’Agostino:  [QhQs]
Shawn Cunix:  [AsKc]
Jeffrey Chang:  [3d3h]
Catherine Dever:  [7d7s]

The board comes [QcJs2s6h9s], and D’Agostino flops a set of queens to win the pot, but nobody else improved anyway. Cunix, Chang, and Dever are all eliminated on the hand.

We don’t have the records readily available, but there hasn’t been a hand with three players eliminated anytime in recent WPT history.
