Joris Ruys Eliminated a Second Time

Just before the end of the level, there was some action over on table 75 and Joris Ruys was eliminated for the second time on Day 1b, as a result he won’t be able to re-enter the competition until Day 1c. Ruys three-bets all in for the last 10,350 and initial raiser Ioannis-Angelou Konstas calls.

The flop changes nothing and even gives Ruys a straight draw. However, the turn and river run out counterfeit his hand. “You know, that’s the worst way to lose this hand,” Ruys says with a dry smile on the way out.

Bart Lybaert is also no longer in his seat and the second entry of the Belgian is over, too.
