Josef Vogel Leads 21 Survivors from Day 1B of WPT Liechtenstein

After 14 1/2 levels of play, Josef Vogel’s 570,000 chips led the way Thursday as 21 players advanced to Day 2 of WPT Prime Liechtenstein.

Play lasted just over 11 1/2 hours with WPT Global qualifier Gylbert Drolet’s elimination of Khabat Jahany sending the final 21 players into the money to return on Sunday, September 10th to play for more. Action ended at 11:37 pm with 18:26 remaining in Level 15, with blinds at 3,000-6,000 and a 6,000 ante.

Thursday’s second opening flight saw 162 entries, far surpassing Day 1A’s total of 115. Friday will see the first of two opening days with two flights, one starting at noon and a second starting at 5 pm.
