Larry Berg Playing as Tight as Possible; Aaron Jones All In Four Times

Oct 25, 2009

Larry Berg hasn’t voluntarily put a chip into the pot all day (through 30 hands). There are only five players at his table, and even when it has been folded to his small blind (twice), he has folded to give Kido Pham a walk in the big blind.

Meanwhile, at the same table, Aaron Jones has moved all in four different times. The most recent was in Hand #28 —

Kido Pham raises from the cutoff to 85,000, Tommy Vedes calls from the button, and Aaron Jones calls from the big blind. The flop comes [Jd5h3d], Jones checks, Pham bets 220,000, Vedes folds, and Jones check-raises all in. Pham folds, and Jones takes the pot.
