Last Level Yesterday

Blinds 300/600 with a 75 ante:

I didn’t play a single pot this whole level. I never really saw a hand, which was pretty unfortunate because someone who had just been moved to my table was in the following hand:

Under the gun raised to $1,800. New guy in 2nd position made it $3,800. It folded back around and UTG made it $8,800. New guy then proceeds to make it $18,800. UTG calls. The flop comes Q, x, x rainbow. UTG checked. New guy bet $10,000. UTG goes all-in for $15k more and the new guy called all-in. UTG had KK and the new guy had 6, 6. The turn was a rag but the river was a 6, which was juicy. Now the maniac had a ton of chips to give away but unfortunately for me, I never picked up a hand.

As an interesting side note, the highest pair I had all day was 6, 6. Needless to say, most of my play came post flop. I didn’t make a single
re-raise pre-flop today. In a tournament like this, it
