Mark Seif Doubles Through Amir Vahedi; Vahedi Comes Back w/Quads

Aug 22, 2009

Mark Seif opens for a raise, Amir Vahedi reraises and Seif three-bets. Vahedi asks if he has a real hand this time and Seif replies, telling Vahedi that he has two black aces. Vahedi folds and Seif rakes the pot, but only after receiving a penalty for discussing a live hand.

The very next hand after returning from his time-out, Seif gets it all in before the flop with pocket kings against Vahedi’s pocket queens. Seif’s kings hold as he doubles up to 70,000 in chips. Vahedi drops down to under 20,000 after this hand.

Two hands later, Amir Vahedi manages to double up with quads, improving his stack back to 35,000.

Mark Seif  –  70,000
Amir Vahedi  –  35,000
