Marshall White (pictured) open-shoves all-in from early position for his last 295,000. Action folds around to Kane Kalas in the small blind and he reraises all-in.
Cornel Cimpan is in the big blind and lifts up his cards, one concealed behind the other, which is the [Ah]. He and neighbor Justin Zaki watch as Cimpan slowly squeezes out the other card, which is the [2c]. Cimpan folds.
Cimpan’s mucked cards aren’t great news for Kalas, who holds [2h2s] to White’s [As10d].
White flops good, pairing up up the [10c9h6d] board, but the turn brings the one card in the deck that can kill his hand–the [2d]. The table still can’t get over the shock of the one-outer after the river brings the [4h].
White is eliminated and Kalas takes the pot.
Kane Kalas – 2,405,000 (80 bb)
Marshall White – Eliminated in 27th place ($17,385)
