Matt Savage Eliminated by Moorman

The UTG+1 player limps for 2,400, LHaaa raises from the cutoff to 7,000, Moorman* calls from the button, and WPT Executive Tour Director Matt Savage reraises from the big blind to 35,700, leaving himself about 800 behind.

The UTG+1 player and LHaaa quickly fold. Moorman thinks for a while before they call.

The flop comes Club 10Heart 9Diamond 2, Savage moves all in for his last 800, and Moorman calls with Diamond KDiamond J for king high with a gutshot straight draw.

Savage turns over Heart KSpade 7 for king high with a lower kicker, and he needs to catch a seven or a runner-runner straight to stay alive.

The turn card is the Spade 5, the river card is the Club 6, and Moorman wins the pot with king high and a jack kicker to eliminate Matt Savage — and collect his ¥1,500 bounty.

Moorman  –  160,800  (67 bb)
Matt Savage  –  Eliminated

* The “Moorman” in this hand is very unlikely to be WPT champion Chris Moorman, who famously plays online as “Moorman1.”
