McConachie Takes Lead

Nov 15, 2014

With one level gone in the turbo Day 1G, we’ve already lost a couple of players, but one player not getting of to a bad start is Dave McConachie. The Arsenal fan and semi-pro has racked up 55,000 chips already, good for the pace-setting position here in the Marquee at Dusk Till Dawn, and with table talking Will Kassouf at his table, there’ll be no shortage of chatter amongst those players.

First player out was Viktor Ilyukhin Senior, who is bidding to join his son in the Day 2 Seat Draw later. Viktor Junior made it through with around 80,000 chips, but Viktor has had to use his rebuy bullet after losing with a set of eights against a set of kings on [Kd-4s-8h] flop.

Also here in the giant DTD Tent of fun are: James Dempsey, Albert Sapiano (despite already having made Day 2 last night with over 160,000!) and UKIPT London champion Brett Angell. It’s a stacked field.
