Michal Lubas Gets There Against Sirzat Hissou

Feb 20, 2020

Michal Lubas raises 1,400 on the hijack and calls a 5,500 three-bet from Sirzat Hissou in the small blind.

The flop brings Diamond QDiamond 10Spade 8 and Hissou checks to Lubas who bets 6,800. Hissou asks how much he is playing behind (13,000) and goes all in. Lubas makes the call and they turn their cards on their backs.

Lubas needs to hit with Heart JClub 10 good for middle pair and a gutshot, against Hissou’s top pair with Spade ASpade Q.

The Club A turn improves Hissou’s hand to two pair but the Club 9 river is exactly what Lubas needs and Hissou is now left with under 20 big blinds.

Michal Lubas – 52,000
Sirzat Hissou – 13,000
