In what may be a WPT first, half of the final tablists are women — Kitty Kuo, Kyna England, and Daniela Rodriguez. Only two women in history have won WPT titles — Van Nguyen won the 2008 WPT Celebrity Invitational, and Ema Zajmovic won the partypoker.net WPT Playground in 2017, which was the only time a woman has won an open WPT title.
Will a third woman add her name to the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup tomorrow? We’ll have to wait and see.
Here are the remaining payouts they’re playing for.
1st: $910,370
2nd: $606,890
3rd: $448,755
4th: $335,200
5th: $252,945
6th: $192,855
The six-handed WPT Final Table begins tomorrow (Wednesday) at 1:00 pm PDT in the Venetian Poker Room. Unfortunately, there will be no live stream, but there will be the usual hand-for-hand updates right here on WPT.com.
