No Respect and Other Notes

Mar 13, 2007

Nenad Medic, who won a WPT at Foxwoods late last year, was not amongst the five bounties at his table before Chip Reese knocked out Jennifer Harman and Gus Hansen. That hand broke the monster table up, sending Nenad to chip leader Jeff Madsen’s left.

– I asked Harman about the health of Doyle Brunson. Doyle has stopped traveling to tournaments of late, and even chose to not attend the Head-Up Championship despite its prestige, national audience and Las Vegas location. The absences combined with mass conjecture has left people wondering if the grand old man is in good health. Jen informed me Doyle is fine and has gotten tired of tournament play of late.

– We want to give a big shout out to Aaron Schiffner, a true friend of the Live Updates team at www.worldpokertour.com. He was attending the local event here and went to great efforts to help us out. Thank you Aaron.
