Not a Good Start for Berende

Feb 23, 2013

Paul Berende has not got Level 21 off to the best of starts, having cost himself 75,000 chips.

The first hand he played he raised to 25,000 then folded when Fedor Holz three-bet to just 48,000 from a 20 big blind stack.

Then Berende opened to 25,000 the next hand and folded to a three-bet from Oswin Ziegelbecker then Berende opened for a third time only to fold to an all-in three-bet of 202,000 from Michael Csango.

“Good start to the level, right?” said Berende sarcastically as he folded to Csango’s shove.
