Official Prizepool Released; 234 Spots Get Paid, First Prize is Worth $839,300

Photo:  The winner of this event will have their name engraved on the one-and-only Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup, alongside every other champion from all 22 seasons of the World Poker Tour.

The official numbers have been released by the tournament staff, and with 945 entries on Day 1A and another 924 for Day 1B, the total field size is 1,869 entries, creating a total prizepool worth $5,980,800. The final 234 players will finish in the money, with a min-cash worth $6,400.

The final eight players will all be guaranteed at least $105,000 each, and the winner will earn $839,300, which includes their $10,400 entry into the season-ending WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas.
