After four starting flights and two Day 2s in the books, the field will come together for the first time in the Main Event organised by Club Pierre Charron and held at the Palais des Congrès de Paris today at 3 pm local time.

(Unnamed Player) (1,103,000) is the only player in the seven-figure club at the moment but as both Sonny Franco (944,000) and Ahmed Haddouche (892,000) are just one pot away from joining him, it may not stay that way for long.

Top five stacks

WPT Champions Club member Marcin Wydrowski (580,000), who won the partypoker WPT Prague 2012, narrowly missed out on a top-five spot and goes through in 6th place. Wydrowski is not the only player with a WPT success still in the running, with four-time trophy winner Laurent Polito (355,000) and recent WPTDS Brussels winner Omar Lakhdari (240,000) still in contention too.

Other notables to keep an eye on are Clyde Tjauw Foe (536,000), Lucien Cohen (526,000), David Hu (453,000), Philipp Zukernik (247,000), Kacper Pyzara (244,000) and partypoker Ambassador Bruno Fitoussi (215,000).

Play returns with 40 minutes and 39 seconds left on the clock for Level 18 (3,000-6,000 6,000 big blind ante). Levels remain at 60 minutes long and play will pause at the end of Level 29 or when the final table is reached, whichever comes first.

Everyone has locked up at least €2,500 but today puts them one step closer to the illustrious €200,000* first-place prize.
