Parx Ambassador In The House

With 45-minute levels through Day 1 and a 50,000 chip starting stack, late registration is the norm in Big Stax 1500 events. This WTPDS event has been running for the last six hours but it’s just officially started for Parx Poker Ambassador Esther Taylor-Brady, who just took her seat in the last level. Taylor-Brady is one of the more recognizable faces in poker, let alone on the East Coast, and is starting her first full year as Parx Poker Ambassador.

While ETay is primarily a cash game player, specializing in mixed and limit games, she’s had her fair share of No Limit Hold’em tournament success. She opened last year with a WPT final table run at Borgata and then ended the 2015 season with two deep runs in October’s Big Stax XIII series.

The first of those deep runs saw ETB finish 5th in the 300 event, good for a nearly $20,000 score to push her career earnings over the $550,000 mark. While Taylor-Brady has yet to notch a score through the first two weeks of this WPTDS Big Stax XV series, she’ll have to be considered a threat in this weekend’s bigger buy-in events.
