Patrik Antonius shoves Heart 7Diamond 7 and Sam Greenwood calls with Club AClub 3. Antonius is the massive favorite but an ace on the flop hands Greenwood the double and a two-to-one chiplead.

Antonius doubles back through Greenwood only hands later when he flops trips with Spade 5Diamond Q against Greenwood’s suited ace-king. Remarkably enough, despite having only a few big blinds, there’s still a check-raise in that hand before the chips eventually go in.

With Antonius back in the lead, he finds Diamond 9Club 9 and limps for 10,000. Greenwood has an easy shove with Heart 7Spade A and puts his last 6.5 big blinds in the middle. Antonius is quick to call and flops top set on Spade 9Diamond 2Club 7. After the Diamond 4 hits the turn, Greenwood is officially drawing dead and the Diamond 5 on the river is there just for good measures.

Patrik Antonius defeats Sam Greenwood in the semi-final and will face Phil Ivey tomorrow as they battle for the WPT Heads Up Championship title!
