Paul Klann Eliminated by David "The Dragon" Pham

Paul Klann

WPT Champions Club member Paul Klann (pictured) just went on a three-hand roller-coaster, and it didn’t have a happy ending.

In the first hand, Klann got short when he lost a hand with queen-ten suited against another player’s pocket aces. That left Klann with just 700 in chips — barely more than a big blind.

In the second hand, Klann was all in against three other players, and he began ordering a ride (Uber or Lyft) to pick him up from the casino — but then he flopped two pair, turned a full house, and rivered quads to more than quadruple up to 3,300 in chips.

In the third hand, Klann moves all in under the gun for 3,300, and David “The Dragon” Pham calls UTG+1 with Heart ADiamond A. Klann turns over Diamond QDiamond 5, and needs to improve to stay alive.

The board comes Spade JHeart 7Diamond 3Club QHeart J — Klann pairs his queen on the turn, but improves no further. Pham wins the pot with his pocket aces to eliminate Klann.
