Petersen Has a Near Escape?

Michael Csango takes the unconventional line of limping under the gun but surprisingly it doesn’t spark off a flurry of callers. Mickey Petersen calls on the button, however, and then Matthias Gude completes his small blind. Thomas Taubenschuss is the big blind and he puts in a raise to 4,800. Csango immediately folds but Petersen goes into the tank and it looks like he is looking at the merits on moving all-in. Petersen can’t quite pull the trigger and he folds. Gude follows suit.

In the brief discussion between Petersen and Taubenschuss that occurred after the hand, Petersen said he was considering shoving and Taubenschuss informed his Danish table mate that he would have called had he moved all in.
