Players Ready for Day 3

May 12, 2017

Louis Salter
We caught up with some of the players on Day 3 of the Main Event to see how they were feeling.

I feel much better than I did yesterday [when he was short]. I’m not just looking at the €1,000 bonus for cashing in Monte Carlo and Amsterdam now, I can go for the win! I came 9th here two years ago. 7

I’m fine. I don’t have many blinds. Now is probably the time for me to get some luck I think!

Short stack Jan Jansma

With the chip leader to my left I think maybe he can give me a couple of chips. I have to get lucky, but it’s pretty hopeless I have to say!

Everett Carlton

I don’t play much in Europe, I play a lot in the States but not over here. I love this city. I checked everything on my table before I started play today.

I’m happy that he [chip-leader Shyngis Satubayev] sits on my right not on my left! I think it’s a very good table. I mean, it could be worse!

I’m feeling ok. In the WPT High Roller I was chip-leader and finished 7th. Of course being chip-leader means a lot on the bubble but anything can happen later on.
