Plenty On Either Side Of 200K

James Lillis

Even though we are moving into Level 12, we’ve yet to see that many players move themselves over the 300,000 chip mark. There are a handful of big name players on either side of the 200,000 threshold, including some players that have gone deep in past Parx Big Stax events.

James Lillis, pictured, peaked around 150,000 yesterday before running into some coolers and failing to make the bags. He’s now playing close to a starting stack better than that today and will hope to avoid those beats en route to punching his Day 2 ticket. Kevin Grabel is playing just shy of 250,000 and Johnson Nguyen is playing under 225,000.

Joe ‘The Jeweler’ Gola is working near that number and WPT Champions Cup winner Jared Jaffee is right below 200,000. Unfortunately, those players are all working well off the pace of the player who just took the chip lead.┬áSoheb Porbandarwala just tweeted that he’s playing over 425,000┬ámaking himself the exception to the first sentence of this post.
