Polk Forces a Rubber Match

Doug Polk has in hand and opens to 3,350 from the button on blinds of 800/1,600. Tom Dwan defends his big blind, holding , and both land a pair of cowboys when the  flop hits the board.

Checks from both bring down the  turn card and Dwan leads out for 4,420. Polk calls, a river card falls and Dwan quickly bets 12,746 with his three kings. Polk shoves over the top with his newly acquired boat and Dwan hits the tank.

In the end, Dwan calls his stack into the middle and Polk shows him the goods to take down the second match, evening out the playing field as they head into the rubber.
