Possible Comeback for Joe Serock at the Featured Table

Feb 25, 2012

At the featured table, Jamie Rosen was eliminated, and Joe Serock was moved into his seat. Serock arrived with just 400 in chips — less than a big blind. Oh, and he was moved into the big blind.

In Serock’s first hand, Dan O’Brien raises from late position to 1,000, Dan Kelly calls from the button, and Serock calls all in from the big blind for 350.

The flop comes [Js10s3s], O’Brien bets, and Kelly folds. O’Brien shows [Ks10c] for a pair of tens with a king-high flush draw. Serock hasn’t even looked at his cards yet, and he turns them over one at a time. His first card is the [10h], and his second is — the [3c]. Surprisingly, Serock has two pair, and if it holds up, he’ll more than triple up.

The turn is the [10d], the river is the [Ah], and Serock wins the pot to more than triple up in chips.

Joe Serock  –  1,750 (3.5 BBs)
