With Balakrishna Patur’s 45th place exit and WPT Champion Viny Lima’s 42nd place result, Donald Maloney (pictured) has two points of merit today. He is the lone WPT Champions Club member remaining in this event and also the only player who can catch Brian Altman for Hublot WPT Player of the Year.

Maloney needs to win this event to have a chance if Altman finishes fifth or worse at the WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open final table. If Maloney busts before the final table, honors will be Altman’s.
