Prior to the dinner break, the Jeanine Deeb and the WPTDS team introduced the live updates followers to the Parx Poker Room with a quick video discussing the record breaking events that opened this WPTDS series. As it stands, with just over 200 players registered for this Day 1A flight, we could be trending towards another record breaking number in this 1500 Main Event.

Throughout those two record breaking events, there have been multiple big name players that have made final table runs and those players will all now try to regain that form in this championship event.

If you’re going to talk about recent form, go no further than New York’s Joe ‘Black’ Reddick. After winning the WPO ‘Borgata Million’ event for over $215,000 in January, Reddick followed that run up with a 5th place finish in the opening 2,450 player Big Stax 300 event.

That Borgata win the first of Reddick’s tournament career and while he’s made a handful of Big Stax final tables over the last few series, he’s yet to claim a Parx title. He’ll try to change that today, doing his almost now patented post-dinner entrance, hoping to quickly run up his 50,000 chip starting stack.
