Richard Seymour Knocked Out on the First Hand of the Day

Richard Seymour

We were just informed by Tom Wheaton that Richard Seymour (pictured), who began the day at the same table as Wheaton, was eliminated from the tournament on the first hand of the day.

According to Wheaton, Jackie Shepherd raised under the gun and Richard Seymour three-bet shoved for his stack of 32,500 from UTG+1. Action folded back to Shepherd and she called.

Richard Seymour: Spade ASpade 9
Jackie Shepherd: X AX A

Two spades came on the flop to give Seymour the nut flush draw, but the turn and river bricked for him and he was eliminated by Shepherd as a result.

Jackie Shepherd – 104,000 (41 bb)
Richard Seymour – Eliminated
