Day 1F of WPT500 Montreal has come to a conclusion with the field of 470 entries reduced to the final 67 players. Robert Greenberg (pictured) leads the way with 592,500.

Greenberg chipped up throughout the day and scored an elimination late when his ace-four suited beat his opponent’s ace-jack to send him close to the 600,000 mark. A flurry of eliminations before hand-for-hand play sent the remaining field into the money. Among those surviving into Day 2 include Duff Charette, Gal Yifrach, Ekrem Bozkurt and Joseph Cappello.
