Robert Keller vs. Matthew Jarvis

Nov 18, 2011

With a few thousand already in the pot and the board reading [8h7c4c], Matthew Jarvis checks in the small blind, a player in middle position bets 1,700.  Robert Keller is in the cutoff and calls.

Jarvis then check-raises, making it 6,125 to play.  The initial bettor calls.  Keller announces he is all-in for an additional 35,500 chips. Jarvis puts his hands on his head, leans back in his chairs and sighs.  He thinks for a couple of minutes before flashing the table [7h4h], forgetting there is another player still in the hand.

The dealer announces Jarvis’ holdings to the table to make sure everyone is on a level playing field.  The other player thinks a minute or so before folding, giving Keller the pot.

"Whooo-wheeee," Keller says with a sigh.  The table implores him to, "show the bluff," and he shows them [Ac6c] for a gutshot and the nut flush draw.  The third player in the hand says he folded [8c9c] for top pair with a smaller flush draw, and Keller takes the pot.

Robert Keller – 64,000
Matthew Jarvis – 100,000
