Note: There was an error of miscommunication in this post saying that Mike Sexton folded a set of queens, but he actually folded a set of fours. We apologize for the error.

Andrew Lam limps under the gun for 100, Mike Sexton calls UTG+1, Jishant Sapra limps from the small blind, and the big blind checks his option.

The flop comes Spade QSpade 5Club 4, both blinds check, and Lam bets 300. Sexton raises to 800, Sapra reraises to 2,500, and the big blind folds. Lam four-bets it to 6,300, and Sexton and Sapra both call.

The turn card is the Diamond K, and Sapra moves all in for about 30,000. Lam calls with a slightly larger stack, and Sexton folds X 4X 4 face up — a set of fours.

Sexton’s fold was correct, as Sapra shows Spade KHeart K for a turned set of kings. Lam turns over Heart 5Diamond 5 for a flopped set of fives, and Sapra needs to avoid one out — the five of clubs — to stay alive.

The river card is the Diamond 10, and Sapra wins the pot with his set of kings to double up in chips.
