In a span of three hands, Shooting Star Todd Brunson picked up pocket aces twice and doubled both times.

On the first hand, in a blind vs. blind battle, the board read Spade 7Spade 4Club 3 and there was about 11,300 in the pot. Brunson was all in from the big blind for about 9,450 with Spade AClub A against his opponent’s Spade 9Club 9. The Spade Q turn and Heart K river completed the board, safe for Brunson to double up.

Two hands later, with the board reading Spade JDiamond 6Heart 2, Brunson was all in for about 29,000 with Spade AHeart A from the button against an opponent’s Heart JHeart 10. The Club K turn and Diamond 3 river completes the board, once again safe for Brunson to double up.
