Six Bet Action

If you were to see Vladimir Volov and Seref Anar you would picture them smoking a pipe, drinking cardamom tea and playing chess. Instead, they are in the midst of a World Poker Tour event battering the hell out of each other. A six bet no less, and the man with the smile on his face is Volov.

It was pocket aces for Volov and ace-king-suited for Anar. The board did it’s job, the aces stood the test of time and Anar was left with just over a thousand chips; Volov has close to 60k. A few hands later and Anar was seen heading for the bright lights of the Cypriot open air.
