Smith and Sexton Continue to Battle

Both Gavin Smith and Mike Sexton are on their third bullets in this three-day re-entry tournament, and both are doing their best to make this one last as long as possible.

The pair have both been seated at Table 49 for much of the afternoon and evening. Smith slipped back to close to the starting stack over the last level, while Sexton has been battling with above-average chips entering Level 12.

Sexton just now saw his neighbor to the right open with a raise to 4,600, then he reraised to 11,000 before watching a player acting behind him four-bet to 27,800. It folded back to the original raiser who tossed his cards away, and Sexton didn’t hesitate before folding his as well.
