Sonny Franco Goes into the Lead on the European POY Leaderboard

As mentioned at the start of the day, a second place or better result would be enough to push Sonny Franco into the lead on the European Player of the Year Leaderboard. He has done in it and told WPT.com that he is considering changing his plans to return home to Marrakech in order to go to WPTDS Amsterdam that begins in less than a week.

Should he hold on to that lead, he will win €10,000 worth of tournament credits that can be used in any WPT flagship tournaments next season. That means any Main Tour Main Event, WPTDS Main Event or WPT500 tournaments.
