Robert Soogea has started heads-up like a train, and won a couple of pots before he put himself in a position to win another in the latest hand between him and a more reserved Atanas Kavrakov.
Soogea raised pre-flop to 170,000 with the button, called by Kavrakov. The flop came and Soogea continued for 150,000, again called quickly by his Bulgarian opponent. The turn of saw both men check but the on the river did no such thing.
Atanas Kavrakov bet 300,000, then Robert Soogea raised to 700,000 – a serious chunk of Kavrakov’s stack. The Bulgarian folded, but it’s hit his chip-stack hard, that hand.
Robert Soogea – 3.2 million
Atanas Kavrakov – 1.6 million
