We think that line came from the movie: The Matrix, and it’s exactly how poker players feel when they get it in with the same hand only to see their opponent hit a flush.

It hurts.

Just ask Steve Watts.

We didn’t see the action, but do know the money went in pre flop between Norbert Berent and Watts, with both players holding ace-king. What was important about those two hands was the fact that Berent was holding the K. That’s because the board ran out J 9 2 T 3 to hand Berent the flush, and eliminate Watts in the sickest possible way.
