Welcome to Day 2 coverage of WPTDeepStacks Hollywood.

Three starting flights produced a field of 1,404 entries and a prize pool of $1,361,880. Only 273 players remain, and each is looking to capture the $228,717 first-place prize, which includes a seat into the WPTDeepStacks Championship in April. On top of the chip counts entering Day 2 is Steve Wilkie (pictured), leading the way with 615,000.

The schedule for the day is to play down to the final table of nine players. Levels are 40-minutes long, and there will be a one-hour dinner break at the end of Level 24 (about 6:30 p.m.). Tomorrow’s final table begins at 2 p.m. and will be live streamed on and the WPT’s Facebook page.

Cards will be in the air at noon local time, and will provide live coverage throughout the day.
