Stoyanov Back on Familiar Ground

Nationalities seem to be attracted to each other in the early stages of the tournament. Steve Billirakis and Kelly Kim are sharing a table, as are the German pairing of Manig Loeser and Marko Neumann.

The Germans had a great season last year, but it’s a Moldovan Vyacheslav Stoyanov who is impressing at that particular table in the first level.

We just saw him take a small pot from Neumann, before making it two hands on the trot after a blind skirmish. Next we saw the hijack open to 250, Loeser three-betting to 750 from the cutoff and a 1,900 four bet from Stoyanov took down his third successive pot from the button.

Stoyanov finished 24^th in this event last year.
