A player moves all in from UTG+1 for 17,300, WPT champion Shawn Cunix calls from the small blind, and Tara Kittle calls from the big blind. Any further betting will create a side pot between Cunix and Kittle.

Both players check to the turn on a board of Heart 6Heart 4Diamond 3Club 10, Cunix bets 20,000, and Kittle calls.

The river card is the Heart 2, Cunix bets 45,000 (about half his stack), and Kittle quickly moves all in for about 110,000. Cunix thinks for a few moments before he calls all in for about 90,000, and everyone shows their cards.

Tara Kittle:  Heart QHeart 9  (queen-high flush)
Shawn Cunix:  Diamond 6Heart 5  (six-high straight)
UTG+1:  Spade AClub K  (ace high)

Kittle scoops the entire pot with her flush to eliminate Cunix and the UTG+1 player.

Tara Kittle  –  260,000  (260 bb)
Shawn Cunix  –  Eliminated

This is Kittle’s first WPT event, and she and Cunix had been laughing and having a lot of fun seated next to each other. Even though she busted him, Cunix wished her the best going forward.
