The 3rd Annual WPT California Swing

Since 2004, the World Poker Tour has had a late winter swing through the state of California, with the L.A. Poker Classic in Los Angeles followed closely by the Bay 101 Shooting Star in San Jose.

When the WPT Rolling Thunder was added to the tour in 2014, the WPT formalized this segment of the tour as the “WPT California Swing,” offering a Grand Prize to the player who accumulated the most points during the three California stops.

Here are the dates for the 3rd Annual WPT California Swing:

February 27 – March 3  (FINISHED)

Commerce Casino in Commerce, CA

March 7-11  (FINISHED)
WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star
Bay 101 Casino in San Jose, CA

March 12-16
WPT Rolling Thunder
Thunder Valley Casino in Lincoln, CA

Players who enter all three events will earn points on the California Swing leaderboard, with the following prizes awarded to the winner:

1.  During the 2017 WPT L.A. Poker Classic, the winner will receive up to six nights of complimentary accommodations, complimentary airport transfer, and one complimentary massage at the Meridian Spa.

2.  During the 2017 WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star, the winner will be awarded Shooting Star status.

3.  During the 2017 WPT Thunder Valley Series, the winner will receive up to five free nights of accommodations in a suite, plus a $500 room credit.

This contest is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia. To be eligible, players will need to play in all three events. The California Swing leaderboard will be compiled today to show the players in contention, and then it will be updated throughout WPT Rolling Thunder as the California Swing plays down to a winner.
