Erkut Yilmaz entered this event with 2,300 POY points, leading the Hublot WPT Player of the Year race. There were seven other players who entered this event who could catch him, but one by one, they were eliminated.

The last contender standing was Jake Schwartz, but he was recently eliminated when he shoved his short-stacked Club AClub 6 into Tom Marchese’s Diamond ADiamond J. Schwartz needed to finish fourth or higher to pass Yilmaz in the POY race, but he finished 17th.

It is now official — the Season XVII Hublot WPT Player of the Year is Erkut Yilmaz!

As the Hublot WPT Player of the Year, Yilmaz receives a $15,000 WPT Passport* that can be used as the buy-in for any Season XVIII global WPT events including WPT500, WPTDeepStacks, WPT Main Tour, and WPT Special Events. In addition, Yilmaz will also receive:

•  Complimentary Accommodation in Majority of WPT Main Tour Events
•  Ground Transportation for Select WPT Main Tour Events
•  Food & Beverage Credit in Select WPT Main Tour Events
•  Special Hublot WPT Player of the Year Trophy
•  Hublot® Watch (Approx. $25K Value)

Congratulations to Hublot WPT Player of the Year Erkut Yilmaz!
