The WPT L.A. Poker Classic Begins at 1pm!

The World Poker Tour is back in Los Angeles at the Commerce Casino for the WPT L.A. Poker Classic!

Last season, reigning WPT Player of the Year Amthony Zinno capped off his historic feat of back-to-back victories with a memorable win here and he’ll be in the field today to defend his title. The buy-in is $10,000 and just like it has been in the past, the tournament is a freeze-out. Players can register until the beginning of Level 10 (roughly 1:45 pm on Day 2 with a 30bb stack).

Here is the schedule for the week ahead:

Saturday, February 27: Day 1 (1pmĀ start – schedule TBD due to the late start)
Sunday, February 28: Day 2 (play five 90-minute levels – noon start)
Monday, February 29: Day 3 (play five 90-minute levels – noon start)
Tuesday, March 1: Day 4 (play five 90-minute levels – noon start)
Wednesday, March 2: Day 5 (120-minute levels; play down to 6 – noon start)
Thursday, March 3: Day 6 (Final Table with one-hour levels – 4pm start)
