Tim Reilly on the Ascent

Tim Reilly

Tim Reilly has just been seen with a stack of around 132,000 and said he stacked an opponent over the course of two hands in order to reach his new total.

On the first hand, Reilly called an under-the-gun raise to 1,100 from the button and went six handed to a flop of X 8X 8X 2. Action checked to Reilly and he bet 1,500. The original raiser check-raised to 6,000 and Reilly called.

The turn came X 4 and Reilly’s opponent bet another 5,000. Reilly called to bring the river X 7, where the player bet another 18,000. Reilly went into the tank for over two minutes and then found a call.

Reilly’s opponent turned over X QX X for a bluff and Reilly tabled X AX 10, finding his call to be the correct one and taking the pot with his unpaired ace. Reilly then knocked the player out of the tournament with ace-king to king-queen to take the player’s remaining 25,000.
