Throughout the first two weeks of this WTPDS Big Stax XV series, there have been a handful of players that have recorded cashes in both the opening 300 and 500 events. Each of those events were record breaking fields and a few levels into this Day 1B session, two players that have already recorded deep runs in each of those main events are looking to notch a Big Stax triple this weekend.

AJ Gillette finished 20th in the opening 300 event, good for a nearly $5,000 score and then he followed that up with another deep run in the 500 event. A 40th place finish in that event saw him bounced just before the end of Day 2 but earned him an additional $3,000 score. He’ll now try to record a third straight Big Stax cash while Joe ‘Worm’ Palma, who leads the Parx ‘all-time cashes’ rankings, goes for a fourth cash of this series.

Palma final tabled the 300 event, finishing 8th for a $12,000 score, and he followed that up with another final table run in yesterday’s ‘$1,000 Six Max’ event. That 5th place finish bookended a cash in last week’s 500 event and while he’s already recorded his third cash of the series, he’s trying to go three-for-three in Big Stax XV main events this weekend.
