Two Pots For Kara Scott

Kara Scott has just helped herself to two decent pots and has given herself some extra breathing room.

Hand 1

Scott opens to 3,300 from middle position and Thomas Taubenschuss three-bets to 8,200 from the small blind. Scott pauses for a few moments before taking back her original bet and replaces it with 18,500 worth of chips. Taubenschuss looks genuinely pained in his decision making and he ultimately folds.

“Show the deuce,” half-jokes Taubenschuss but Scott mucks her hand.

Hand 2

Scott is now under the gun and she opens to 3,300. Her raise, from one of the worse positions at the table, goes uncalled until it is the turn of Gabor Endre Skrinyar to act. He calls and he and Scott share a [Kc][7d][6s] flop.

Skrinyar taps the table and checks. Scott makes a 3,700 continuation bet and Skrinyar calls faster than light! The [6h] turn paired the board and Skrinyar checked again. Scott makes it 7,000 to play and Skrinyar folds.
